1. Dress in Layers: Mornings are chilly, afernoons warm. Wear a moisturewicking base layer, sweater, and light jacket. A cap and thick socks help against the dew.
2. Start After the Fog: Fog is commonbefore 9 a.m. Book later tee times for clearer views. If you play early, use bright balls and wait until the group ahead is visible.
3. Warm Up Well: Stretch, take a few practice swings, and walk briskly to loosen muscles. It prevents injuries and improves your swing in cold weather.
4. Keep Hands Warm: Use winter gloves or hand warmers between shots. Warm hands mean a better grip and smoother feel at impact.
5. Stay Dry: Early dew makes the turf slippery. Wear waterproof shoes and carry a towel to clean wet clubs and grips.
6. Hydrate and Sip Warm Drinks: Even in cool weather, drink water regularly. A thermos of tea or co ee keeps you warm and alert.
7. Protect Skin: Dry air causes cracked skin and lips. Apply moisturizer and lip balm before your round; sunscreen still matters in winter sunlight.
8. Keep Moving: Walk the course instead of riding a cart to stay warm and maintain fexibility between shots.
9. Adjust for Distance: Cold air shortens ball flight. Club up one level and expect slower greens in the morning dew.
10. Enjoy the Season: Fewer crowds, crisp air, and misty fairways make winter golf uniquely peaceful. Embrace the chill — it’s one of the best times to play in Bangladesh.
