The Tiger Golf Club (TGC) held a special breakfast reception on 31 May to honor the return visit of H.E. Heru H. Subolo, former President of TGC and former Indonesian Ambassador to Bangladesh. The event brought together members of the diplomatic community, club officials, and long-time friends to celebrate Mr. Subolo's enduring connection with the club and the city of Dhaka.
In his heartfelt address, Mr. Subolo expressed deep appreciation for the warm and generous welcome extended to him. “It’s truly heartening to return with such a thoughtful gathering,” he said. “I’ve always believed that what makes any place special is its people, and seeing all of you here reminds me why Dhaka has always felt like home.”
Reflecting on his past experiences with TGC, Mr. Subolo commended the club for its lasting spirit of camaraderie and shared values. He described the breakfast not just as a meal, but as “a celebration of connection, of continuity, and of the work we’ve done and still have ahead.”
Mr. Subolo also praised the vibrant culture of the Tiger Golf Club, noting, “There’s nothing quite like a TGC family—where the ideas are as rich as the food, and the friendships even richer.”
He concluded his remarks with a hopeful message of continued connection, expressing a wish to meet again—whether in Indonesia or elsewhere—with “a stronger heart and spirit of the TGC family.”
The event served as a powerful reminder of the enduring bonds forged through diplomacy, community, and the spirit of the game, hallmarks of the Tiger Golf Club legacy.
